My daughter has been playing one of these for year
3 July 2023My daughter has been playing one of these for years and it's going great, no dramas. Of course since it's a plastic body it sounds beginner-y but the student yamaha is also plastic i believe.

Reasonable starter instrument
By: Tina on 15 January 2015I'm an adult multi instrumentalist picking up a reed woodwind for the first time. This was one of the most budget-friendly options available- Yamaha etc are around $600+. From what I can tell so far it's a decent instrument for the price. There aren't any leaks and I can produce an ok albeit beginnery tone with it.
